In response to Minerva Dumbledore's 'Teddy Bear' challenge.
Note: Rating for allusion to a sexual situation.
I think my IQ dropped twenty points when I wrote this. >_>;
Hidden Beneath Pillows
Bellatrix gazed languidly at the man above her. her lips curling into a pleased smile as his hands began to trail up her torso, then biting back an angry hiss when he suddenly pulled away. The Dark Lord let out a growl and slid from the bed in an angry movement.
"Master?" Bellatrix called, her voice soft and delicate, never demanding. The tall figure stopped abruptly and turned to face her from the doorway.
"Remain here, Bella," he instructed. "I shall return momentarily." Bellatrix gnawed her lip in frustration as the door shut behind Voldemort. Of course she would stay here, he was her Lord and she would await him until the end of time if he so instructed, but really! What could have possibly been so urgent that he had to leave immediately?
Grumbling to herself, Bellatrix sat up and pursed her lips, then adjusted her position again so that she lay propped up on the small pile of pillows behind her. She surveyed the room beyond the foot board of the bed with detached interest. There was nothing here, after all. Besides the bed the only other furnishing was a large trunk that rested at the end of it. To Bellatrix' knowledge, the trunk didn't actually open - not that she had ever tried to open it; she wouldn't dare go snooping through her Lord's belongings.
Bellatrix furrowed her brow and fidgeted, rolling onto her side when she felt something uncomfortable poking between the pillows and into her back. Intrigued, she rolled over and looked curiously at the brown... paw? that was sticking out. Bellatrix tugged the paw, shocked when a stuffed form that was in the unmistakable shape of a bear appeared from where it had been wedged beneath the pillows.
"What in Merlin's name...?" Bellatrix murmured, turning the plush toy around in her hands. She let out a soft laugh as she pulled on the left arm of the bear and found a small black Dark Mark embroidered in the brown fur. What was this doing here? Was there something her Lord wasn't telling them? Could He truly collect teddy bears?
Death Eater plush bears. The Dark Lord had Death Eater plush bears and this one was -- Bellatrix paused, staring in shock at the name embroidered in silver script on the bottom of the bear's right foot.
"Bella?" she exclaimed incredulously. "He called the bear Bella? The bear's name is Bella!?" Bellatrix laughed gleefully. That would show the rest of the Inner Circle. She was the Dark Lord's favourite. He slept with a stuffed bear named after her.
So busy laughing at this revelation, Bellatrix neither noticed that the lock on the trunk at the end of the bed had clicked, nor that the lid was now sitting open, until she had stopped to catch her breath. It had opened. Why had it opened, and did she dare go through it?
Curiosity getting the better of her, Bellatrix slid from the bed and crept to the trunk. Glancing quickly over her shoulder to ensure that the door was still closed, she peered into the trunk with immense interest.
Though the woman was sure that after finding the bear named after her she shouldn't have been surprised to see the innards of the trunk, it was still a shock. There were piles of bears, some with little lightning bolt scars and green eyes, some with long white beards and flashy robes, most missing an arm or leg and with the stuffing spilling out of rips in the fabric.
In one corner of the trunk there was a small stack of teddy bear sized Death Eater's robes, masks and wands. Bellatrix was amazed by the extent of the collection, as well as finding herself more than a little disturbed and well aware that this knowledge would be blackmail material for anyone but the Dark Lord. Shaking her head and vaguely aware that her Master wasn't going to be gone for much longer, Bellatrix dropped the bear version of her into the trunk and closed it firmly before climbing back onto the bed to await the return of the Dark Lord.

Later, long after Bellatrix had left the chamber, Lord Voldemort recited the password (The bear's name is Bella) to open the trunk and frowned, spotting his Bellatrix teddy bear sitting the top, staring innocently up at him.
"Really, Bella. I am aware of your dislike for Potter and Dumbledore, but you're supposed to remain hidden beneath the pillows where no one can find you..."
End.
